The Crested Butte and Gunnison valley has two excellent and free public transportation systems:
Gunnison Valley RTA: RTA provides bus service from Crested Butte to Gunnison with multiple stops in between including CB South.
The Mountain Express: Provides bus service between Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte along with separate routes serving just Mt. Crested Butte.
